Once again, we had the honor of participating in the 7th External Internship Companies Meeting at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. During this event, we had the opportunity to introduce our company to final-year students of the Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, and we were thrilled and pleased by the great interest they showed in AIDA.
The meeting provided a space where, like every year, various companies had the chance to interact directly with the students. Our stand attracted many of them, who approached us to learn more about our internships and the job opportunities we offer. It was gratifying to see how interested the students were in discovering how AIDA can help develop their potential, the projects we work on, our key technologies, and the corporate culture we foster.
During the event, we gave a presentation highlighting who we are and how we assist students in this new stage of their lives. We shared the mentoring, training, and development process we offer to our interns, as well as the high number of students who currently work with us, which further aroused the students’ interest.
Participating in this event was a way to reaffirm our commitment to the community and local talent.By interacting with the students, we were able to identify promising young people and convey our interest in their professional growth. We are convinced that fostering these early connections is essential for nurturing and retaining Canary talent.
This is our eighth year attending the External Internship Companies Meeting at ULPGC, and as always, it was an enriching experience. We had the opportunity to present our company to the students, and we were pleasantly impressed by the level of interest and enthusiasm they showed towards our company. We firmly believe in the potential of young talents and the importance of providing them with opportunities to grow and develop professionally. These types of gatherings are vital for establishing lasting connections between companies and future professionals, and we are excited to see how this relationship unfolds in the coming months.
AIDA would also like to express our gratitude for the involvement and dedication demonstrated by our colleagues who attended the event: Miguel Herrera, Aarón Hernández, Leandro Cieri and Otoniel Pérez. Thank you very much guys, it has been a pleasure to have you!
