The first version of Ordering, intended to replace the original app Desyweb, was launched in 2017. Since then, it has been continuously evolving to incorporate novel features while maintaining a strong rapport with OEMs through their fresh approaches and API and interface migrations.
Now is the opportune moment to revitalize Ordering and enhance the user experience. We have optimized its design to be adaptable and functional at least on tablets. In fact, we have embraced a mobile-first approach, making it an invaluable tool for specific profiles. A prime example would be within the logistics realm, where arrival dates can be set directly from a mobile phone in the field. We’ve harnessed cutting-edge front-end technologies, aligned with the latest guidelines of SIMA Suite and other leading applications.
This modernization process is gradual, allowing both technologies to coexist harmoniously while collaborating as a unified force. In this initial phase, we have revamped the dashboard and navigation menu to deliver a superior experience, supplemented with key performance indicators (KPIs) that facilitate day-to-day tasks. We have also migrated the arrivals screen to the new version. Furthermore, we’ve introduced an innovative feature that enables the management of showroom vehicles, as previously showcased in newsletters. However, this is only the beginning, as each subsequent release will progressively integrate more functionality based on user metrics. Our aim is to provide the ultimate solution for the end user.
This transformation also empowers us to continue investing in migrating desktop application functionality to the web. A concrete example is the seamless integration of expo vehicles, which are now seamlessly incorporated into Ordering.
This upgrade will be available starting in September.
